IT Service Management and Software Design FR
Line

Objectives Service Management Best Practice advice and the ISO/IEC 20000 standard are centered on how service providers – your customers – manage your applications in a production environment. However, their ability to manage applications can be very strongly influenced by the features and structure of the applications themselves. The purpose of the seminar is to review and understand how software can simplify and enhance the capacity of a service provider to manage it.
Benefits

•  Lower total cost of ownership for the users of your software.

•  Higher reliability of your software.

•  Easier integration of your software into Service Management systems.

Duration One-half day
Targeted Audience The personnel responsible for the design and the sale of software, whether they be in commercial organizations, non-profit organizations or in-house software development services. There are no formal prerequisites for this seminar.
Subject Matter The seminar starts with a review of the Best Practice approach to Service Management based on ITIL. The core of the seminar reviews each of the Service Management processes and identifies key areas in which an application may influence the quality of how the service depending on that application is managed. Practical examples are used to illustrate the principles. Pertinent international and de facto standards are described. The seminar concludes with an action plan for improving software manageability.
