Before you ask why we use a logo whose circles are not concentric, consider the following image:

Pinna's illusory intertwining effect

Our logo is not an optical illusion. However, remember that a multi-dimensional shape projected onto a plane will not preserve all its attributes. It’s not a trick and it’s not a con. That’s my one cent’s worth.
